I'm Getting....a Corset :)

For my birthday at the end of this month, I have asked my boyfriend for a corset! He agreed, so I have been contacting dealers on Etsy to find the perfect one for me. I want one that is longer like Rose's from Titanic, but I want a "heart" shape like the lace number on the bottom left (it is one of Dita's in case you didn't know!). There are so many beautiful corsets on Etsy! I am looking to get it made from a particular dealer whose craftsmanship looks completely superb! I will post more later.

Valentine's Day Hair Tutorial

Lately I have been attempting the Veronica Lake and Dita von Teese hairstyles, and feeling as though I am coming up short. Here is one attempt I did a few weeks back.

1. Roll hair in Hot Sticks or rollers
2. Brush hair out
3. To get pageboy (w/the sides) use a round brush
4. Style the rest of your hair as you see fit.

I have been really failing at trying those dang waves that Dita sports so often! If anyone has a tip on how to do this, please leave a comment below!!!

Perhaps my hair is too damaged! :( It is damaged to the point that "normal" hot rollers lose their curl completely after 15 minutes, and hot rollers last about an hour. To get my hair to hold a curl I have to sleep on rollers which I have been neglecting lately.

I sure look like a sour-pus in these photos, but they seem the best out of the bunch 8)
